The World Day of Prayer Service is hosted this year by St John’s Church, Lacey Green and the theme prepared by the women of Nigeria is: ‘I will give you rest, come’ This artwork depicts the daily reality of rural Nigerian women whose lives are marked by endless labour from sunrise to sunset.
When we bring our weariness to Christ and support one another in community, we find rest and strength to continue our journey. All are warmly invited to attend on Friday March 6, 11am. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow the service.
