This page seeks to inform you on the facilities in place for those with physical impairment, and to guide you on how to obtain any further facilities should you need them to enable you to worship, to participate in other church activities or to take a role in the maintenance and management of the church and church community.

The Church Buildings

The Church is linked to the Chapter House which contains an upstairs meeting room and two offices. Across the road is the Church Hall which comprises a hall, a small room and a kitchen.

Facilities and Arrangements in Place

The following facilities and arrangements are in place:

• Both the Church and the Chapter House have disabled toilets.
• The Church has an audio loop which is used at all church services and events.
• The Chapter House has a lift to the upstairs meeting room.
• The entrances to the Church and the Chapter House are level, enabling wheelchair access.
• There is a ramp into the Church Hall, enabling wheelchair access.
• There are steps between the Nave and the Chancel in the Church, and a rail in place on the steps to assist those using them; those participants in Communion Services who are unable to access the Chancel will be given communion at the front of the Nave, or at their seats, provided that they inform the church members on duty.

Car Parking

The Church Hall has a small car park; although there are no disabled places set out, places can be reserved if notice is given. The Church has no car park; the public car park is used where payment is by card or phone only. There are areas next to both of the Church Gates where passengers can alight.

Requesting Facilities

The Church community seeks to enable your participation in church life. Whilst it will not be possible in most cases to put in place additional facilities for a one-off occasion, the Church will work with you where possible to enhance its facilities if that will enable you to be part of our community.
