This Easter we set ourselves the objective of raising funds for a new paediatric ventilator which our CMS Mission Partner, Nicci Maxwell, had identified as their greatest need.
I hope people had the opportunity to hear and see Nicci and the staff at Potter’s Village (in SW Uganda) as they gave heartfelt thanks on the video shown at the Easter Sunday services. (If you didn’t see the video it is still available on your Youtube recordings of the Easter services on 4th April. The video is towards the end of both the 9.15 and 11.15 services.)
I would like to add my personal thanks to everyone who so generously supported this Appeal. We had set a target of £1,750, we raised £5,273! The extra funds will be put to good use in the Children’s Medical Centre. This was built about 10 years ago and most of the equipment is becoming unreliable and beyond repair. We have enabled several vital items of medical equipment to be replaced.
