For our 2022 Lent Course we will be joining with the other churches in Risborough to study ‘Sharing the Easter Story: from reading to living the Gospel’ by Sally Welch.
The book explores two questions: ‘What is the Easter story really about?’ and ‘how do we share it?’
The book is organised around seven weeks’ daily readings. Each week has a short introduction and each daily reflection begins with a passage from the Bible and ends with questions and a short prayer. The book is currently on sale from St Andrews Bookshop Great Missenden at £7.99.
The course will run over 6 weeks. Details of the sessions being run by the different churches are shown in the poster which you can download from the link below, and you are welcome to join in any of the courses.
St Mary’s Church
St Mary’s will be hosting a group on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.00pm starting on 8th March and ending on 12th April.
This will be a hybrid meeting, both online and in the Chapter House, and will be led by David Williams and Tony Eccleston. Contact the Parish Office for your invitation if you wish to participate online.
