Pat Kerr’s new appointment

Our Curate Pat Kerr, his wife Jenni and their children Phoebe and Ezra have announced that they will be leaving St Mary’s in the Autumn to take up a new appointment with the Church of Ireland.

Pat joined us as Curate in June 2019 and his wife Jenni was appointed Children’s & Families’ worker here in 2021. Both Ezra and Phoebe have been integral members of our Children’s Church and we will miss them all very much.

Pat will be Vicar in charge of St Paul’s, Castlewellan in the Diocese of Down & Dromore and also Kilcoo Parish Church, Bryansford Village, Newcastle. Castlewellan is a small town in County Down, in the south-east of Northern Ireland close to the Irish Sea. It is beside Castlewellan Lake and Slievenaslat mountain and lies between the Mourne Mountains and Slieve Croob.

Pat, Jenni, Ezra & Phoebe’s last Sunday with us will be Sunday 16th October and his Installation date is likely to be in mid November.  Please pray for all the family as they prepare to begin this new Ministry.
