Chiltern Arts Festival 2021

Chiltern Arts has announced rescheduled dates for its live, socially-distanced 2021 Festival, which is now taking place 21st–27th May in Princes Risborough, Old Amersham, Marlow, Henley, Berkhamsted and Great Missenden.

Artists featured include Clare Hammond, the City of London Sinfonia, Mahan Esfahani and the Sacconi String Quartet. Tickets and further information can be found at www.chilternarts.com/whats-on/

The Festival theme this year is ‘musical resonance’ – exploring how music can mean so many different things to individual listeners, or how it can tell a story or reveal an identity.

On Friday 21st May, pianist Clare Hammond opens the Festival in St Mary’s, Princes Risborough, with a solo programme inspired by her work in prisons, featuring Brahms, Szymanowski and Piazzolla.
