CAP Befriender – Open Evening, Weds 6 March, 7-9pm in the Chapter House

Ian Bickerstaffe is a Debt Coach for Christians Against Poverty (CAP) which provides debt advice and personal support in the community. Ian works from our local CAP office in High Wycombe and he and his colleagues work in the Risborough area. CAP Befrienders work alongside the Debt Coach by providing a personal contact to support the client through the process.

Ian will be giving a talk at both the 9.30am and 11.15am morning services on Sunday March 3rd. If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a CAP Befriender, please come along to the Open Evening where you will be given free training (without commiting you to sign-up). We know there is a need for this service in Risborough where the cost-of-living crisis is being felt by families, some of whom access our local Food Bank run in conjunction with the One Can Trust.
