Our speaker on Saturday 29th August is Rev Sally Prendergast who will be talking about how she handcrafts clergy stoles and her latest project – it will be exciting to see more about her beautiful needlework.
Ladies Breakfast has been running for at least 10 years and meets in the St Mary’s Church Hall. Between 35 and 50 ladies attend from all the Churches Together in Risborough congregations and their friends. We meet every two months, on the first Saturday (apart from September when we meet on 29th August), from 9 til 10-30. Each time we have a speaker either in house by one of our ladies or from a charity or organisation.
For the breakfast we provide porridge, bacon rolls and a continental breakfast. There is no charge for Breakfast but donations are welcome to cover expenses and any extra is donated to the charities we hear about. There is always a friendly atmosphere and new ladies are warmly welcomed.
