Huge congratulations to Mark Drewett who has completed his epic bike ride from Lands End in Cornwall to John O’Groats on the northern-most tip of Scotland. Mark has cycled an incredible 1,525 km in just 10 days, that’s around 150km per day! Mark has been ably supported by his Mum, Sarah and grandparents Gill & Garth who drove the support vehicle and kept him fed and watered along the way.
Mark’s efforts are all in aid of the ‘Young Minds Trust’ – the UK’s leading charity fighting to ensure a better future for young minds. Mark has already raised the amazing sum of £7,218 and it’s not too late to give through his JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/markdrewett
And this is not all, Mark is also signed up to run the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October. We hope he enjoys a bit of a break from his endeavours over the summer – take it easy Mark!
