Sunday January 22nd was the day Bishop John rededicated St Mary’s after a year of restoration, and what a Sunday!
After a very moving service led by the jovial John, the Church was transformed to seat 150 people for a two course HOT lunch. Praises cannot go high enough to the ladies and helpers who prepared, cooked and served a choice of meals, complete with wine, a sweet, and coffee or tea, for so many people; it was a spectacular performance—well done and thank you all very much.
Entertainment by Batman and Robin, performed by David and Jim, and of course Jo’s lovely singing, concluded a Sunday not to be forgotten.
