When are the services? We have 3 services on Sunday mornings. At 8am there is a said service of Holy Communion; at 9.30am there is the Parish Communion service and at 11.15am TGIS - Thank God It's Sunday - our Family Service. Coffee is served in the Chapter House between the Parish Communion and TGIS. For teenagers, there is also IGNITE at 6.30pm on the last Sunday of the month. Mums with small children are welcome at Nursery Service, a time of Praise and Play for the under 5's, held at 2.00 pm in Church on Friday afternoons - tea and toys in the hall afterwards. For more information on all our services see our services page .
Can I look round the church? Yes, St Mary's Church is open at regular times during the week and you are welcome to call in, look round or spend some time quietly in the church. Someone will be there to welcome you. The times when the church is open are published on the website . There is also information about St Mary's and St Peter's on this web site. Yes, if you live within the parish, but even if you don't live in the parish, it may still be possible to be married in St Mary's.
