When are the services? Our main Sunday Service is at 10 am at St Mary's. The Sunday Zone for young people is held at the same time. If you prefer a less formal service, then you might like to come along to the Evening Praise service at 6.00 pm on the fourth Sunday of the month. For teenagers, there is Youth Zone on Sunday evenings. Mums with small children are welcome at Friday Zone, a time of Praise and Play for the under 5's, held at 2.00 pm in Church on Friday afternoons - tea and toys in the hall afterwards. For more information on all our services, click here .
Can I look round the church? Yes, St Mary's Church is open at regular times during the week and you are welcome to call in, look round or spend some time quietly in the church. Someone will be there to welcome you. The times when the church is open are listed here . There is also information about St Mary's and St Peter's on this web site. How can I find out about having my baby baptised? We welcome enquiries about baptism. You will find more information on the Special Occasions page of this web site. This explains what happens during the service and give you details of who to get in touch with. Can I get married in St Mary's? Yes, if you live within the parish, but even if you don't live in the parish, it may still be possible to be married in St Mary's. On 1st October 2008, a new law came into force making it easier to get married in the church of your choice. There is more information about this on the Special Occasions page on this web site. I don't know much about the Christian faith, how can I find out more? You're not alone! Please come and talk to us. We can put you in touch with people who can help you to find out more. I know someone who is very lonely. Can the church help? Yes, we have a number of pastoral visitors who provide support after a bereavement, during illness or at other times of need. There is more information on our Support page. We also hold the Open Door tea on the first Sunday of the month in the church hall, where anyone needing company is very welcome. The Pop-In Centre, also run by St Mary's volunteers, is open on Friday mornings at the Risborough Centre in Clifford Road from 10am until 12 noon for anyone over the age of 50 who would like to pop in for a coffee and a chat. I can't find the answer to my question on this page! There is a lot more information on this web site, accessed through the A-Z index on the left hand side of this page.
