Our Mission Statement:
“Sharing the love of Christ with All”
Growing in God (through discipleship, the Bible, prayer & worship)
Relationships matter (‘Doing Life Together’ through Life Groups)
Changing lives (committed to being a blessing to others)
Excite (open to the Holy Spirit & all that God wants to do)!
We are committed to being active disciples and making disciples for Jesus.
What are we like?
We are a diverse and colourful group of people, and diversity is something to be celebrated and welcomed! We hold a range of services from the traditional prayer book service, to quiet times of reflection and contemporary all-age worship – all are welcome to find the worship that suits them. Throughout the week we hold ‘Life Groups’ encompassing all kinds of different interests from Steam Trains to Crafts, from Pubs to Book Clubs where you can meet like-minded people.
Our church in the community and the wider world
As a local Church we are seeking to be kingdom–focused; to be ‘salt’ and ‘light’; to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God; to be the voice, hands and feet of Jesus to those around us:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of the destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy”. (Proverbs 31: 8-9)
