Would you like an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment? Are you ready to take the next steps, going deeper in your faith alongside others who are learning like you?
Here at St Mary’s we provide 3 short courses each year, starting with the Alpha course in January, and continuing with shorter courses in the summer and autumn. All these courses are free of charge, and usually begin with food, a good opportunity to get to know others during the course and make new friends.
The autumn discipleship course is called Letters to the Exiles.
The course runs on seven Wednesday evenings starting on 3rd October.
Based on the film series “For the Life of the World”, this course explores the deeper meaning of salvation, including:
- What is salvation actually for?
- What it means to be “in the world not of it”
- How God’s purposes are woven into every area of our lives
- How our lives matter in God’s plan for the World.
Each evening starts with a meal at 7.30pm followed by a film and a chance to talk about what you’ve seen.
The evening finishes at 9.30pm.
