Here at St Mary’s we want children and young people to grow in their faith and find that this journey is fun and exciting. We run the following Sunday morning groups for children and young people during our services:
- Tot Spot – for children 0-3 years old (during the 9.30 Communion and during TGIS)
- Gems – for children 3-5 years old (during TGIS)
- Stepping Stones – for children 5– 9 years old (during TGIS)
- Boulders – for young people 9+ years old (during TGIS)
Nursery Service for children 0-5, with their parents, grandparents or carers, meets on Fridays during term time.
We also have afternoon and evening activities for the young people in Princes Risborough. We have a fun, informal Bible Study group for young people 14-18 years old, called Pulse. Also on a Sunday evening once a month is a social group, Later, where young people can come, relax and socialise with friends.
If you would like to know more information about any of the groups contact Ryan Romano Children’s and Youth Worker, 01844 273300
Continuing to develop our provision for children and young people is St Mary’s priority for 2015-2018. Our aim is to enable children and young people in our community to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. In autumn 2015 we appointed Ryan as our full time Children’s and Youth Worker. Since then, as well as growing the groups listed above, he and the clergy have developed our links with the local primary schools in Longwick and Princes Risborough.
Safeguarding our children and young people is an essential part of our duty of care. All our groups are run by volunteers who have had a DBS check. Our Safeguarding Policy is available here and our Safeguarding Officer is Jenny King
