St Mary’s has just donated nearly £6,000 to Christian Aid as part of its charitable giving. We have put this towards their Iraq-Lebanon Community Partnership, where it attracts matched funding from a Berlin-based charity, Brot fuer die Welt, at a rate of 6:1, making our donation worth a total of nearly £42,000. Our annual Time to Remember Service takes place on 3rd November at 3pm in St Mary’s Church. All are welcome to attend, in particular those who have suffered bereavement in the past year and wish to have a moment to remember their loved ones. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
