Safeguarding Officer

January 11, 2021 By Hilary Derbyshire

St Mary’s is looking for volunteer from the church community to be its new Safeguarding Officer, to fulfil its obligations to provide a safe environment for all who worship at the church, use its facilities, participate in its external activities or work for the church.  This is an important and rewarding role.  Ideally we are seeking someone with some experience of safeguarding.  Support and advice are available from within the church and the diocese.  If you are interested or would like more information, or know of someone who would, please contact Roger Arthey, Churchwarden, via the Parish Office at parishoffice@stmarysrisborough.org.uk.
